Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms govern use of Intakedoor (the "Service"), operated by Russell Singer ("we", "us"). By signing in with Clio or using the Service you agree to them on behalf of your firm.
1. The Service
The Service provides hosted client-intake forms that create contacts and matters in your Clio Manage account and run a conflict pre-check against your existing Clio records. It is a tool for law firms; it does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm.
2. Conflict pre-check is advisory
The conflict pre-check searches your own Clio data for matching names and reports what it finds. It can miss matches (for example misspellings, maiden names, or records kept outside Clio) and can flag false positives. It is not a conflict-of-interest determination. You remain solely responsible for conflict checks and for compliance with your professional obligations.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content of your forms, for the information prospects submit, and for complying with the rules of professional conduct that apply to you, including rules on confidentiality, advertising and client intake.
- You must have the right to connect the Clio account you connect, and you must keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- You may not use the Service to send spam, collect data unlawfully, or interfere with the Service or with Clio.
4. Fees and trial
The Service is offered with a free trial, after which a subscription is required. Prices are shown on the billing page. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and applicable taxes are added at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you may cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees are not refundable except where required by law.
5. Data
Our privacy policy describes what we collect and how it is handled. You own your data. You authorize us to process it to provide the Service and to access your Clio account only for the purposes described in the privacy policy. You may revoke that access at any time.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Submissions received while Clio is unavailable are queued and retried. We may change the Service, including by adding or removing features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that present a security or legal risk, with notice where practicable. On termination we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
9. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Virginia, United States. If any provision is unenforceable the rest remains in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. Clio is a trademark of its owner; the Service is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Clio.
